The action on the rod is designed to be middle to top action which is mid way fast. The rod houses a very strong casting action not to mention the very little lateral wobble you will get with inferior rods. The range is designed to throw out a great length of line. The finish is gloss black with hard chrome snake ring eyes. A fly keeper eye and the two bottom guide eyes are ceramic coated to ease with line run through. The handle is a very comfortable cork scroll. The handle has a eva foam tip coupled with a fixed extension butt which is great for balance. Of course team here at the Fly Mill had the 9ft rod out at our local the Fly fishery. It really does show a well built rod. A quality rod that you can the Fly Mill all day with very little fatigue.
